From an early age, children should find the path to peace through art. "First Steps on the Art Road to Peace" is an initiative specifically for Arab and Jewish kindergartens in Israel. A total of 24 kindergarten groups took part in 2019. At every encounter, the little ones receive educational offers. By combining viewing, describing and creative action, they can develop skills in a playful way and get to know others with interest and tolerance in a creative environment.

This encounter gives children from different backgrounds the opportunity to overcome their fears of contact with one another at an early age. Since the children are sometimes accompanied by their parents at these meetings, it is also possible to strive for the parents' willingness to engage in dialogue with other cultures and religions.
